Passwords are reported to have leaked from over 30 different data centers. This mainly concerns Apple, Facebook, Google and Telegram, but also some authorities.
But an information expert tells Sveriges Radio Ekot that it is likely a matter of old leaks and that the login information has probably been collected over a longer period.
This is probably a collection of old leaks that have been put into a large database that has unfortunately been placed on a large server that is unprotected, says Anne-Marie Eklund Löwinder, former head of the Internet Foundation, to the radio.
