The Government will appoint an investigation on Thursday to map clan structures in Sweden, reports Ekot.
The Government wants to address both criminal family-based networks but also those where honor norms prevail.
I think that all clans that challenge and create parallel societal problems are a problem for Sweden. We cannot have a Sweden where our democracy does not apply, says Simona Mohamsson, who does not rule out a special clan police, according to Ekot.
The police estimate that there are between 34 and 40 criminal clans in Sweden.
The investigation is to be presented no later than August next year.
