A man in his 85s is dead after a drowning accident in Nyhamnsläge north of Höganäs, reports Helsingborgs Dagblad. The alarm came at 10 am on Wednesday.
The rescue service tells the newspaper that passers-by discovered a person in the water. The man was taken out of the water but his life could not be saved.
There is no suspicion of crime.
